Meet Abigail Nessle

Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist

Eating Disorder, Intuitive Eating & Chronic Illness Dietitian

Hi, I'm Abby!

I'm a Registered Dietitian passionate about helping people heal their relationship with food, reconnect with their bodies, and find a way of nourishing themselves that supports both their physical and emotional well-being.

I specialize in eating disorder nutrition counseling, intuitive eating, and supporting individuals navigating the intersection of eating disorders and chronic medical conditions.

I work with children, teens, and adults who want to feel more confident in their food choices, better understand their bodies, and build a more peaceful relationship with food.

Maybe you've spent years feeling overwhelmed by food rules, struggling with guilt after eating, or feeling disconnected from your body's hunger and fullness cues. Or maybe you're managing a medical condition like POTS, gastroparesis, diabetes, or PCOS that makes eating feel complicated, stressful, or unpredictable.

Whatever brings you here, my goal is to help you feel more confident, supported, and at peace with food and your body.

My approach is rooted in intuitive eating, Health at Every Size (HAES), and weight-inclusive nutrition care. I believe nutrition is about so much more than what we eat. It's about our experiences, our health, our relationships, and the ways food fits into our everyday lives.

My Focus Areas

I believe everyone deserves nutrition care that respects their individual needs, experiences, and relationship with food.

My clinical background includes primary care, outpatient eating disorder counseling, and supporting individuals with complex medical conditions and disabilities. These experiences have taught me that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition.

I especially enjoy working with people who are curious about exploring their relationship with food, even if they're not quite sure they're ready to make changes. You don't need to have everything figured out before getting started.

Together, we'll explore what's working, what's feeling challenging, and how to build sustainable habits that support your health without guilt, restriction, or shame.

I also bring my experience in the culinary world into our sessions, helping you find creative, realistic, and enjoyable ways to nourish yourself.

Above all, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make choices that work for your body and your life.

My hope is that our work together helps you spend less time worrying about food and more time enjoying the life you want to live.
