Meet Mickenzie

Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist

Hi, I'm Mickenzie!

I am a HAES-aligned, anti-diet registered dietitian with extensive experience supporting clients with eating disorders and disordered eating behaviors.

My experience spans working with both teens and adults across all levels of care, including inpatient, PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings navigating various eating disorder diagnoses including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID, and OSFED. In addition, I work with individuals who may not have a clinical diagnosis but are seeking to cultivate a healthier and more positive relationship with food, movement, and their bodies. Together, we explore current beliefs and behaviors around food while building greater self-awareness and flexibility.

In my years working in the eating disorder field, I have developed a strong passion for supporting teens and young adults.

I have a passion for supporting clients who are particularly vulnerable to pervasive diet culture messages and peer influence. I enjoy helping my clients challenge health and diet myths, reframe their beliefs, and develop practical tools to take meaningful action toward a healthier relationship with food and their bodies.

I work with families and utilize a treatment team approach.

I value collaborating with family members and other providers to create a strong, supportive foundation for recovery, which I find to be crucial when working with adolescents and young adults

My focus is on meeting clients where they are, creating realistic and sustainable goals, and guiding them through nutrition education, meaningful discussions, exposures, and structured goal setting.
